Member Portal
Overview
The Order of the Arrow has recently launched a Member Portal where you can:
- Update your contact info (email, phone number, mailing address)
- See the lodge calendar
- Access event registration links
- Check your dues status
- Contact lodge leaders with any questions
Additionally:
- Newly elected members (whose units notified them before their Ordeal) can access helpful information to prepare for the Ordeal.
- Newly inducted members can find resources to guide them toward Brotherhood.
Age Note: You must be at least 13 years old to have a Member Portal account. At the moment, there is no way for parents to access portal accounts for members under 13, but that option is expected in a future update.
How accounts are created: New accounts are automatically created for candidates and new members (age 13+) once their election details are submitted through the LodgeMaster Inductions module—either when their election is reported or after they complete their Ordeal, whichever comes first.
Step 1: Get an Arrow ID
Arrow ID is the single sign-on system used for all national OA platforms, including NOAC, NLS/DYLC, LodgeMaster, and the Member Portal. If you’ve attended NOAC or NLS/DYLC in recent years, you might already have one.
If you don’t have an Arrow ID yet, follow these steps:
- Visit https://id.oa-bsa.org/Account/Register
- Enter your name, email, and a password
- Click Register
Follow any directions to finish creating your account.
Step 2: Recieve a Member Portal Invitation
To activate your portal account, you’ll need an invitation email from your lodge. If you never received one, contact your lodge adviser or records adviser.
The email will include a code that links your Arrow ID account to your OA member record.
To use the invitation:
- Click the link in the email. If you’re asked to log in, use your Arrow ID.
- If the link doesn’t connect automatically, log in first, then return to the email and click the link again.
- If that still doesn’t work, click the red “Have an invite?” button.
- Select Member Portal
- Choose your council
- Paste in the code from your email
- Click Add
Step 3: Access the Member Portal
Once your account is linked, you can log in anytime at:
Important Note for LodgeMaster Users
If you already use LodgeMaster and left the default login settings, going to https://portal.oa-bsa.org/ may automatically open LodgeMaster instead of the portal. In that case:
- Click your name in the top right corner
- Select Switch Application
Choose Member Portal from the menu
